21 Days to a Healthy You. There’s a little-known statistic out there about making habits. It takes 21 days to make a new habit, even if that’s a really bad habit, but we’re not going to focus on those. That means it takes less than a month to create an entirely new habit that can make you an entirely new person. The great thing about this is you can start making healthy habits for yourself! So, in honor of 21 days, I’ll give you 21 different ideas to make habits from in order to start a brand new you.

1 | Eat more vegetables. Add more veggies into your diet every day!

2 Eat more fruit. Same as veggies, but with fruit!

3 | Reduce the amount of carbs you eat. America is notorious for eating carbs, so try to cut some out of your diet every day.

4 | Get rid of sugary foods. Make it so you can’t have sweets during the week, but the weekend or special occasions is okay.

5 | Drink an entire water bottle each day. If you’re like me and don’t’ drink a lot of water, set a goal to drink 1 bottle of water every day.

6 | Drink the daily amount of water needed every day. That’s 2 liters of water girls.

7 | Cut down on the amount of pop you drink. Pop is filled with sugar and isn’t’ very good for you at all.

8 | Cut down on the amount of caffeine you drink. Caffeine can be just as bad as pop too.

9 | Exercise each day. This can be as little as 30 minutes or as much as 2 hours.

10 | Run 1 mile each day. Try different running paths to make this more interesting.

11 | Think more positively. Take your mindset from negative to positive.

12 | Practice body-positivity. 21 days of being positive towards your body can change your self-confidence drastically.

13 | Be more positive towards others. Your positivity can help shape others too.

14 | Get 8 hours of sleep every night. Try your absolute hardest to get all those Z’s in.

15 | Go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time. Having a set sleep schedule can really help get rid of that morning grogginess.

16 | Get a morning routine. A morning routine can actually have some great psychological effects, so why not try starting one now!

17 | Spend at least 1 hour outside every day. The fresh air is amazing for you.

18 | Spend less time on your phone. It will make your social life so much better.

19 | Spend less time on social media. Without the need for likes and comments, you might found out more about who you are without the judgement of others.

20 | Read more! You’ll expand your mind through the wonders of reading.

Keep your room clean. A clean room has tons of benefits that keep you de-stress and much healthier.

Take one of these ideas and try it for 21 days! Keep going with it even if you find yourself getting frustrated. It takes 21 days to make a new habit, and hopefully this will help you become happier and much healthier than before. It’s a struggle, but I believe in you and I’m sure you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
